The leadership of the IOTA Ministry Groupe, a Ghanaian-based NGO, has donated a borehole to the people of Fiankonya, a small town in Dodowa. A ceremony held on July 13, 2019, to officially hand over the facility was attended by dozens of elated citizens of the area. Also in attendance were the District Chief Executive, Daniel Akuffo, the Assembly Man, Richard Tettey Adjah, as well as the Chief of Fiankonya Nene Abroso Narteh Isaac III.Constructed in line with the CSR duties of the NGO, the gesture, leadership of IOTA hopes, will alleviate the challenges with accessing potable water in the community. The donation arrives as part of the Living Waters Borehole Nationwide Project, which aims to do its quota toward tackling water countries across the country. Expounding on the motive behind the donation, Apostle Joseph Kwadjoe Yeboah, Founder and C.E.O of IOTA said: “In obedience to God and for the humane necessities of people, we embarked on the project with humble urgency. We believe that if it must be done for humanity, the best part of that gift is its timeliness. He further stated that completion of the project, despite initial hiccups, is evidence of God’s indubitable faithfulness. “While it fills us with immense joy to have been able to do it, the greater joy is in how it enhances our desire of propagating with it the message of the Gospel,” he added.
